Thread Stitch book binding also called Side Stitch or Side Sewn binding which is a way bound with thread down the spine which normally for brochures with less pages. Though relatively simple, the result is a very professional looking document.
The Thread Stitch Book Binding method is Beneficial on cheap binding cost, fast turn around time, flexible demand ordering, wide range of sizes - large or small as you want, and it can be hole punched along the spine for insertion into a ring binder, made with a heavier weight paper cover or as “Self Cover” books which mean the interior pages is same weight of paper as cover.

Covering material you can use art paper or printed paper, gloss art paper, matt/dull art paper, offset paper, special paper. (Art paper are smooth, and satin paper is closer to matt art paper.)
You also can choose Vinyl papers,Book Cloths, and Leather Imitations.
Inner pages can be art paper, uncoated paper, special paper.
For inner pages: Art paper in 80g, 90g, 105g, 128g, 157gsm; Uncoated paper in 60g, 70g, 80g, 90g, 100g, 120g, 140gsm.
For ending pages: 70g~200gsm coated or uncoated paper.
For cover pages: 157g,200g,250gsm mounted and laminated outside.
For cover binder: 1500g,2000g,2500g,3000g grey board, in thickness of 1.5~3mm.
For jacket/sleeves: 200g ~ 350gsm.
(A variety of paper options, some special weight can be negotiated.)
The technique of Foil Stamping and UV Coating have many challenges
involving technique, materials, artwork and colors on right picture. -->
Wrapped by OPP bags individually and water-proof paper, packed into
standard export cartons, then packed onto solid pallets.
Timing:
Estimated 24~48hours for sample, and 15~30days for bulk production.
3 hours forward to Shanghai Seaport Store(by sea or air).
3 days Chinese customs time by sea, and 1 day by air.
